Unitas 6497 Skeletonized

Skeletonizing an Unitas 6497 movement was a part of the master thesis at the Swedish watchmaker school in Borensberg in 1998. Besides the skeletonizing, we manufactured the balance cock, hairspring, inner collet, stud and the balance staff. All movements was tested for performance before they was approved. However, the 6497 is in my opinion an ugly movement but we could not choose, a Omega 19''' would have been much nicer:-)
